The Ghost Train - 30th October

A very silly man accidentally strands six passengers at a small Cornish wayside station. Despite the psychic stationmaster’s weird stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting room. Soon they regret this decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialise, before the silly man reveals the true reason behind the night’s events. A play written by Arnold Ridley best know as playing the part of Private Godfrey in Dad's Army. It was first preformed in November 1925 (100 years ago) the version you will see is the 2023 version which was faithfully revised by Jocelyn and Nicolas Ridley, to refresh some of the dated dialogue. You need to let him know your name, what standard your are performing at and what brass instrument you play. You should bring their own lunch, but coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided during the break. If attending the Concert in the evening, the workshop is free, otherwise it is £10
